Being a person of high physical stamina, it has always been hard for me to find someone to workout with. During the summer I was fortunate to find someone that was just as down with "getting-er-sweat-on" as me. Thus inspiration for this post. Here are my tips in finding the perfect workout buddy.
1. Similar Endurance
When your partner can keep up with you physically, it creates healthy competition that can push you to work harder.
Part of working out consistently is having a regular gym schedule. Find someone that has a schedule that works with your own.
3. Not Afraid To Try Something New
It's good to add some variety to your workout to keep things fun, and prevent you from plateauing by doing the same routine. Find someone who is just as adventurous as you whether that means you hit the barre on Monday nights, kick butt during crossfit Fridays, or sweat it off during a Saturday spin.
4. Have Fun
Why not have fun?! By incorporating enjoyment into the equation the more you build on your friendship, and the more you see your workout as a fun time!
