Bodysuit: Shein ($15!) c/o / Skirt: Shein ($27 and comes in 4 other colors) c/o / Shoes: Shein (sold out similar here and here) c/o / Bag: Bebe (old similar here) / Earrings: Baublebar c/o / Ring: Baublebar c/o / Sunnies / Lips: MAC-Odyessy
Christmas is done and over leaving New Years Eve just around the corner!! I love dressing up for all the Christmas parties, but love dressing up for NYE even more. What's more glam than NYE? Whether you are going to a house party to watch the ball drop or spending a wild night about town, this outfit is the perfect look to ring in the new year. Hate spending massive amounts of money on an outfit that you won't wear again? Me too.....
This whole outfit is not only tres chic, but is also something that won't break the bank.
If you are on a budget for your NYE attire try to buy separates vs a dress. By buying separates you are more likely to match them with different pieces in your wardrobe allowing you to maximize the use of your purchase.

Make sure you check her blog post out for details on what products she used for this gorgeous makeup look / How can I not feature Jana Style when she's wearing a gold skirt like me today? I die over the pop of red she added!!

Snowed In...

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope all of you had a fun and safe holiday weekend. Sorry for the slight delay in my posting, but I've been spending so much time with friends and family that the blog took the backseat last week. Not to fear, we are back on our regular posting schedule.

Last month when Todd and I were in town for Thanksgiving I teamed up with one of my amazing friends Brit Jacox to do a glamours winter shoot with Todd and I up in Cottonwood Canyon. I am so obsessed with how these images turned out, and am so grateful for all the vendors that made it possible!

Last Minute Gift Idea for Him: Scentbird

If you're like me, then you've been doing last minute Christmas shopping. Usually I'm good about getting my shopping done early, but this year I've been so busy with blogging, photography, and Todd being gone for interviews. Christmas shopping took a backseat this year. So Today Todd is scrambling to do our shopping, while I sit at home trying to feel better from an overnight sickness.

There was one thing, however, that I did get Todd ahead of time. I got him a Scentbird monthly subscription.
Let's dive into why Scentbird.

For the past 4 months, Todd has been on a HUGE cologne kick. When I say huge I literally mean HUGE!!! I'm not quite sure where this obsession came from. I can't go a day without Todd asking me to burry my nose in his elbow saying "What do you rate this on a scale 1-10?" In case you didn't know, Todd is quite frugal. He has an acrylic lipstick holder full of cologne samples. Todd has to be absolutely sure that he loves a cologne before he spends the money on a bottle of "juice."

I browsed the internet to find a gift for my thrifty "cologne connoisseur." I found rave reviews about this new company called Scentbird. Apparently they offer over 450 designer & niche fragrances, and the subscription is only $14.95 a month. I was thrilled when Scentbird wanted to do a collaboration with me. The subscription allows Todd to choose a new cologne each month. The bottles of cologne aren't just dinky sample sizes either, rather they are 8ml bottles that last even longer than one month! If your man is anything like my Todd, then look no further. Scentbird carries women's fragrances too, for the perfume fanatics in your life!

Here's how it works....
  1. Go onto the Scentbird site and create a profile.
  2. Choose the length of your subscription (3 months, 6 months, or a yearly subscription).
  3. Then you pay for the subscription, and Scentbird sends your loved one an email so that they can begin choosing their monthly fragrances. If you are signing up for yourself then you can fill out a quick survey for Scentbird to recommend new fragrances that would match your preferences. If you don't like any of their suggestions you can always pick your own from over 450 fragrances.
  4. Within a few days, you'll receive your first fragrance.
I'm not gonna lie, Todd got his Scentbird as an early Christmas present so I could do this blog post. He's already obsessed with his Scentbird fragrance Jubilation XXV Man by Amouage (which retails for $$$). I'm telling you that this is a killer idea for a last minute gift.
