One of the things I absolutely love about blogging is going on shoots throughout the Arizona valley. With Todd's life revolving around a 10 mile radius from home to school-Costco-Walmart-Sprouts we don't get away much to explore. While I am all about exploring the state that we have lived in for almost 3 years he's comfortable staying close to home. Whenever I work with a photographer I love to shoot where ever they want because it gives me a new opportunity to explore. Last week I met up with Jamee to shoot some looks in Tempe. We have shot here once before, and I absolutely love this city because it reminds me of back when I was in college. After we got done shooting I was getting a little "hangry," and didn't want to wait thirty plus minutes to eat with Todd at home. When a girls gotta eat a girls gotta eat.....

I found a place to park in Tempe marketplace to start my search for food. As I was walking down the street in pursuit of a full belly I was so enchanted by this cute city. With the streets being narrow, and full of people I felt like I was back in Salt Lake city. I miss more of the urban culture (not saying Utah is super "urban"), and love the hustle of streets. One of the things that caught my attention was this chalk wall saying "Before I Die I Will...." that anyone can write on. When reading what others have wrote it was a mixture between deep thought, and comedic relief.

Living in uber family suburbs since we've been married I am hoping that when we move for residency, whether it be here or in another state, we can move somewhere similar to Tempe.

Petite Review Shein dress: I got this dress in an xs, and it was a little big in the torso. The torso was taken in. The sleeves were about 2 inches to long for my arm length, and were taken up. The shoulders were perfect, which is one of the hardest things to find when being petite.
