About 2 weeks ago I put a post asking what you wanted to know about me, and here is now the answers to your questions.

1. How did you get into blogging?

Excellent question. I got into blogging almost two years ago, and was mostly influenced by my co workers. When Todd and I first moved to AZ from UT for Todd to attend dental school, I started working at Nordstroms. While working at Nordstrom you need to be dressed to the 9's everyday, and naturally my co workers kept saying you really need to start a fashion blog.
Me a fashion blogger? Yeh right....
I had friends in Utah that were successful bloggers, and with the constant encouragement to start one I decided it was time to jump on the bandwagon. I knew I didn't want to be just any old fashion blogger, and wanted to stand out from the crowd. While I love fashion I equally love healthy living, and an active lifestyle. Some bloggers may claim to be fitness bloggers by sharing cute active wear, but I wanted to be different by sharing actual workouts, contents on healthy living, and share what I know about fitness. Added bonus to starting a blog was to have something to work on at night while Todd would be gone studying at school.

2. How did you become successful with blogging?

Well I'm not sure if I am super successful considering I'm a small fish in a huge pond. I grew my blog  to be what it is today from time, collaborations, imagery, giveaways, link ups, being different, and being consistent.

Someone who goes into blogging thinking they will be an immediate success right away may be horribly disappointed. It takes "TIME" to build a following, and for people to discover your little space on the web.

Through collaborations with different companies, and them featuring my blog I have been able to tap into an audience that I wasn't able to reach. Since I am a fitness blogger I have worked with lots of activewear companies, and that has brought me so much traffic. Another type of collaboration I love to do is styled shoots. Love Love LOVE! I don't consider myself to be a model by any means, but I love to be in front of a camera for some reason. Last year I did a couple styled shoots that got published, and has gone viral on Pinterest. I not only modeled for the shoots, but also got into styling shoots as well.

Last year I decided that I needed my imagery on my blog to look professional. During the time I wasn't in a financial position to buy a new camera so I decided that I would find a photographer that would accept trade - if they shot images of me I would promote them through all my social media. Ever since I increased my imagery my blog has grown so much. Besides the fact that my images look so much better I have made some serious friendships with these photogs. I can call up any one of these girls, and just cry to them when I've had a bad day.

I've worked with companies that have hosted giveaways on my blog that has been very lucrative. Some of the giveaway options have included sharing giveaway link on Facebook, and that has helped attract audiences that you haven't tapped into.

Linkups. I discovered this about 8 months ago, and was so sad I didn't discover this earlier. For those who aren't familiar some bloggers host a link up where you attach your picture and web URL. This allows for others to discover new bloggers.

When you are a blogger in a sea of a million bloggers it's hard to stand out from the crowd. I truly believe that in order to be different you need to have a niche. Since I am a Pure Barre teacher I write about Pure Barre topics. I consider myself to be an authentic blogger, and only write what I am passionate about. Since barre is increasing in popularity many people will search the internet for barre information. Since there isn't much information on barre people will find my blog. People are always grateful for the information I supply, and will send me emails asking about barre.

Consistency is key (says the girl who has been inconsistent for a couple days). By having a normal posting schedule your readers will pick up on that. I am always consistent and make my posts a couple days ahead. I have them scheduled on blogger to go live at midnight Arizona mountain time. I'm not going to lie whenever I go out of town this schedule tanks for a couple days, but I pick it back up. I suggest getting a planner, and scheduling your posts ahead of time.

3. How do you curl your hair?

Over the summer I was meaning to shoot a hair tutorial, but I got so busy it never happened. I promise I'll get one out to you soon. In the mean time I'll tell you the products I have been using for years. Disclaimer: I'm all about investing in hair, and so some of my products are a little pricey, but I swear by them. I have tried so many products, and these work for me.

Pureology Nano Shampoo + Conditioner, Pureology Strength Cure Masque, Chi rocket dryer, Chi curling iron, Alterna Bamboo Silk cream, Kerastase Elixir, Kerastase Nutritive Nectar

4. What's your diet?

Since I am so active I have to eat. Depending on the day (meaning if I have to wake up at 3:40 am for work) my diet is different. Please note this is what works for me, and not suggesting this should be everyone's diet. When I wake up I will usually go running, and when I come back home I will typically eat an apple for breakfast or an Isagenix Isalean shake. In the morning I'm not very hungry so I keep it light. I'll go to work in the morning, and be back at home around 12 to see Todd for lunch. During lunch time I will usually eat either a bowl of fruit, hard boiled eggs, or opt for veggies with hummus. By the time dinner comes I'll make an array of things from taco-less tacos (meaning taco salad), salmon with green beans, honey glazed chicken, asian lettuce wraps, beef barely stew, stir fry, spicy thai soup, and the list goes on. Dinner is my biggest meal for the day. We don't eat many carbs not because we are on a diet, we both just don't care for it. We don't make pasta, sandwhiches, or eat bread. After dinner I will usually have a snack where we make popcorn kernels with little butter, and salt. I try to fight off my craving for sweets, but once a week we will get a Mcdonalds 59 cent ice-cream. I always have fruit in my bag in case hunger strikes while I'm on the run.

5. What is your fitness regimen?

I am always running 6 days a week. After I run I will usually do 20 minutes of ab work, and 30 minutes of lifting. I do Pure Barre 3-4x a week.
