Workout Wednesday: Bench Fitness

For the past month I have been going hard at the gym to prepare for a swimwear shoot I did last weekend. One of my favorite tools during my training was doing full body efforts on a bench with using my own weight as resistance. I love to create and share workouts that don't require much equipment so that you can do my workout at your own home. If you don't have a bench try something like a sturdy chair. 

Abs, Arms, Upper Back

Start off in a straight arm plank with feet on bench. Keeping yourself steady come onto the floor with one elbow, and then lower down to the other. Once your on the carpet press back up to original position. Do this 10x (alternate which arm you lower and lift first so both arms get equal work).

Triceps

Start with both hands on bench, and bend/press away. 20x

Abs

Hook feet around the bench, and lay down on the floor with arms over head. Keeping arms by your ears curl up. Repeat 20x
