Layers & Lipstick Linkup - Half Pony Tail & Distressed Denim

Top: Shein (only $15!) c/o / Jeans: BlankNYC / Bag: Target (sold out similar here) / Earrings: Baublebar c/o / Watch: Christian Paul c/o / Sunnies: Nordstrom / Shoes: Kate Spade (old similar here, here, here, and here) / Lips: Lipsense-Kiss for a Cause
You know when you think a trend in the past will never come back? Well distressed denim has been coming back strong for the past couple years. I remember back when I was in high school I would get all my holey jeans from Abercrombie and Fitch and Hollister. You remember your shopping at the fitch days ;) My dad would always get some mad when buying me distressed denim, and say "Why the heck would you spend money on jeans that have holes in it?"

Men.....

I personally love that the distressed denim trend is back, and looks like it won't be going away for a while. Distressed denim has become the timeless staple in a woman's closet that you go to for any occasion whether it be a hot date or classic travel style. I can't believe how much use I have gotten out of these BlankNYC jeans since the day I bought them. Since I am a petite girl, theres only a few brands that fit me such as J Brand, Curriot Elliot, Hudson, AG, and Rag & Bone. I got these in a 24, and had to get them taken in at the waist just a tad.
