I am so excited to be finishing off the Halloween season with this shoot. Even though I am so excited to be sharing this with you today, I am also sad because this means no more Halloween shoots until next year.
I am pleased to announce that my team and I got this shoot published on the
Perfect Palette. Here is the little story I wrote for the publication.
The inspiration for this shoot stemmed from creating a Halloween series for my blog that had a deep rooted bridal theme. The goal was to create something that was dark, a little creepy, moody, and still retain it’s beauty. I wanted to showcase a unique love story between two beings that was powerful yet mysterious. The color scheme consisted of deep purples, rich pinks, blacks, and touches of gold that contrasted beautifully against the barren stone walls. Ranunculus, dahlias, roses, magnolia leaves, and cosmo center pieces brought warmth and richness to our farm table. Sophistication and old world elegance was all in the details of the table from the gold stemware, antique goblets, and the calligraphy place cards. The brides ring was gold with a black sapphire center stone that was beautifully unique in itself. Simple gold diamond earrings, and a diamond tennis bracelet were the perfect accessories to heighten the elegance of the skeleton bride. The groom wore a deep purple jacket with an unbuttoned shirt that complimented the brides black and white Monique Lhuillier gown.
Big thanks to the dream team that made all of this possible!!!
