Wellness Wednesday: Isagenix

I was introduced to Isagenix about 6 years ago when I was super into rock climbing (bet you didn't know that about me ;) ). With being an competitive athlete I wanted to be the best, and that meant lots of time dedicated to my training. Part of my training was how I fueled my body. As a climber I wanted to have the least amount of body fat, and greatest amount of muscle.To build long lean muscle I turned to my friend Isagenix. I used the Isalean shake in the morning as a meal replacement after I would work out. While the Isalean Shake is low in calories, it still keeps me full until my next meal.  Recently I started my marathon training, and have started using Isagenix again. The biggest difference I have seen this time around is that my stomach is becoming more defined. For anyone looking to try something different I highly recommend Isagenix. 

Here is my morning recipe.
What you will need:
  • Blender (I use a Ninja)
  • 8 ounces of water
  • Cinnamon
  • Optional: 1 banana
  • 2 scoops of French Vanilla Isagenix Isalean Shake powder (I love this flavor the best)
  • ~7 Ice cubes
Put everything in a blender, and blend away. I add cinnamon in the mixture to amp up the flavor as well as it's health benefits such as : it lowers cholesterol, protects against heart disease, reduces blood sugar levels, eases menstrual cramping, helps with indigestion, and so much more.
