Happy Monday everyone! I Hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend! With Todd being in his last quarter of second year, we weren't able to get home for the holiday. It's sometimes nice to kick up our feet, and not travel back to Utah for Easter. Even though we weren't home for the weekend, we still had a blast. On Saturday we went to Midwestern where they did an Easter egg hunt for all the kids. While everyone brought their tots we brought our 4 legged son to enjoy the festivities. It was fun to hang out with our friends, and enjoy the beautiful weather while the kids ravaged the eggs like a hungry pack of Hyenas. Sunday was perfect. We woke up early so I could run 10 miles while Todd soaked in the hot tub (guess thats his form of working out). Later on we watched conference on our computer while laying around. For dinner we went to our friends house where a group of us enjoyed our Easter dinner we all made.
This Easter was especially special for me. With my friend Mikey recently passing away, Easter helped put things more into an eternal perspective. Heavenly Father has been there every step of the way for those who are still grieving over our tragic loss, and because He lives He will help us heal through this tragic time.
How did you celebrate Easter?
