Today I'm going to be talking about two workouts that you can do with a resistance tube. About a couple weeks ago I attended a boot camp that inspired me to use a resistance tube in the gym. I love resistance tubes because it helps you stimulate muscle growth by controlling the resistance, helps with stretching, and is convenient to pack up to workout anywhere.
What you will need: Resistance tube (they are cheap), and a place to anchor the tube. I used my Pure Barre tube.
What we are working: First exercise you work the core, second exercise you work the top and inner thighs.
First Exercise: Find a sturdy anchor to tie the tube around. Strap up your feet, and start in a plank position. Alternate pulling of the knees into the chest for 2 minutes. As you pull the knee into the chest the tube resists.
Second Exercise. Find a sturdy anchor to tie the tube around. Hold onto the tube firmly, and jump between positions. Repeat 20x for 3 sets.
