Happy Monday my friends. Sorry for the no post on Friday, but I was exhausted from an all day styled shoot that I was apart of on Thursday. It seriously was one of the most fun shoots I've ever been apart of.
My day started when I woke up at 4:20 am, and I drove to Scottsdale for hair and makeup. I've never worked with anyone that was apart of the production, and wasn't quite sure how all our personalities would mesh. Maybe it was the fact that we all woke up at the crack of dawn, but we were all cracking jokes left and right. When I was reaching the tail end of getting ready my groom finally showed up. When I first saw all 6'5 of him I didn't know how our height differential would work.
When we finally reached our shoot location at 7:30 am, my groom and I went to take pictures with the photographer while everyone else set up the details for the shoot. Our photographer April was amazing because she was having both of us tell made up stories. This was probably the most genius idea because it broke the ice immediately while we told the most random stories about cheerios, hog tying my groom to a tree, getting kicked out of sea world, and swimming with the sting rays. I couldn't hold a pose for the life of me because I couldn't stop laughing.
I like to relate myself to the cry laughter emoji. When I laugh I literally spit tears!!
Since my groom was 6'5 and I'm 5'2 you can only imagine how we looked standing next to one another. Whenever we would go in for a pose we would immediately look at one another, and laugh hysterically because how awkward we looked.
The shoot ended at 11:30, and I was exhausted from being in the Arizona heat.
I can't wait to show you guys the images from the shoot, and introduce you to the amazing vendors that made my Thursday a party.
