Back when I used to live in Utah my winters would be filled with tons of layering.
Jackets, button downs with sweaters, beanies, hat, scarves....
You name it, I layered it!
This winter we have had a very warm season (literally 70 degrees this week), and wasn't able to get away with my normal layering. My key items for layering this season were light weight scarves and light weight jackets.
I posted on Instagram the other day about how wearing a sweater is me pretending I live in the winter, and so many commented that they wished they were in my shoes. To me that is so funny because I would give anything to be in temps that were 30 degrees cooler. I guess we all want what we can't have....

I do like living in a state where we have all 4 seasons. Since i'm a knitter and thus have a ton of sweaters, I'm not sure I would like not being able to wear them!!

Loving all the shades of pink and mauve in this post! It is hard to think of warm thoughts during a shoot when it is 10 degrees out! But you're right, I should just embrace it, because we always want what we don't have!

Aren't the boots so fun?! I actually used to hate velvet because the texture creeped me out, but for some reason I had to have these velvet booties!
