Fashion Elite with J Petite Linkup - Midi Skirts

Photography: Jamee Edwards
Skirt: Rachel Parcell / Top: Joie (old similar here, and LOVE this style here) / Jacket: Paige / Shoes: Cents of Style c/o (old identical here) / Bag: Gigi New York c/o / Lips: Pucker and Pout - Bombshell
The midi - not quite knee length, not quite floor length, but absolutely adorable. You've heard me talk about my skepticism about midi skirts in previous posts (I was resistant because I am petite), and know how much I was against them. It wasn't until I took a leap of faith to purchase my first midi skirt, which is when I fell absolutely in love. What I absolutely adore about midi skirts is that they are elegant, modist, and lady like. Skirts like this are perfect for me to go to church in without worrying about them riding up when I sit down.
I got this Rachel Parcell midi skirt back in November, and it has seriously become a staple in my wardrobe. With this being such a classic piece you can wear it between seasons! Thats what I call #winning

  Meet My Cohost
How adorable is Chelsea from Inspiration Indulgence? Chelsea and I connected a few months back on Instagram when we started to dm each other about styled shoots. From there we chatted about balancing blogging life with normal life, and everything in between. This girl is an absolute doll, and I hope to meet her one day. Make sure you check out her blog because she's absolutely amazing!!!
Featured Bloggers of the Week
You might recognize Laura from Walking in Memphis in High Heels because we've done a few linkups together. How darling does she look? That mauve dress is just calling my name, and love the sandals she paired with it. Perfect pink look for Easter :) Make sure you check out her darling blog, and she has the cutest daughter ever!

Jana from Jana Style makes this weeks feature because whats more Easter than florals?! Am I right?! Her adorable dress even comes in black!!

Thank you for joining me at the Fashion Elite with J Petite Linkup! I love sharing everything that is style whether it be the latest trends or something that is staple in the wardrobe. I absolutely love linkups as a way to connect and discover other amazing bloggers from all around the world. Each week bloggers may submit their posts on Tuesdays at 1 am Arizona Mountain time to show their take on our beauty/fashion theme of the week. Each week I will pick 2 of my favorite bloggers who rocked the trend from the previous week to be featured on my blog.
I would love to see you linking up with me by sharing #fashionelitewithjpetite, and tagging @thejpetite on Instagram. I will feature our favorite Instagram accounts who feature my hashtag.

Next weeks theme will be "White Denim."

    1. I was on the fence whether the black and yellow would look like a bee (lol), but I think it turned out pretty cute :)

  5. Your skirt is so much fun! I love the detail on it. I am reluctant about them too because of my height but maybe I need to give them a try. Beautifully Candid

    1. The trick is to make sure they are high waisted to make you bottom half look long, and not cut off.

  13. Denim skirts- These skirts never be outdated and never go out of fashion for a girl. A denim skirts is highly modish kind of skirts for a woman, which makes fashion statement just by splitting the inseams and sewed it different shapes.
