I couldn't be more proud and excited to share my first Halloween shoot of the season! I look forward to doing these every year for my blog because there's something magical about letting your creativity run wild with Halloween.
The inspiration for this shoot stemmed from creating a Halloween series for my blog that had a deep rooted bridal theme. The goal was to create a fine art scene that was both moody and elegant . The distressed brick and floors of the Brake & Clutch Warehouse set the mood for the shoot as the light from the skylights flickered in and out that afternoon.
White O’Hara garden roses, black scabiosa, purple acacia, baby eucalyptus, cream majolika spray roses, anenomes, quicksand roses and smilax vine brought an earthiness to the warehouse . The florals were created to feel organic and overgrown as if they grew naturally on the arbor and table.
The color scheme consisted of sage, black, grey, gold and touches of purple that contrasted beautifully against the distressed brick. Elegance and sophistication was all in the details of the farm table from the gold stemware, antique goblets, and the calligraphy place cards.
Big thank you to all of those who participated in this amazing piece of art!
