My Favorite Apps for Editing Selfies

Part of being a blogger and Senegence distributor is learning how to rock the selfies. I love sharing my selfies on my Instagram to show my makeup for the day, BTS of a shoot, fun new jewelry, or just what I am wearing for the day.

It's very rare that I just take a selfie, and post it without editing it. The photographer in me always wants to edit the coloring, lightening, contrast, and saturation. Here is my top favorite apps for editing iPhone images that I use on the daily.

Lightroom: As a photographer I edit all my images through Lightroom on my desktop. In LR I create presets that I use on my images to keep my brand cohesive for my clients. Through LR they have a mobile app where I can import my presets from my desktop onto my iPhone. The only downside is that I don't have as many options to edit through LR mobile as I do on my desktop.

POTO: I don't necessarily use this for selfies, but it's on of my favorite collage apps. Whenever I'm doing a collage for the Instagram this is my go to app.

Afterlight: I used to use this a lot more before I downloaded LR mobile on my phone, and is an awesome app to adjust brightness, contrast, exposure, highlight/shadow, saturation, hue, and much more. Afterlight is more straight forward than LR mobile, and is more user friendly.

ColorStory: I don't use this one all the time, but when I do I absolutely love the filters. I saw this app advertised on Instagram, and decided to give it a go. The apps are so fun, but the downside is that you need to buy a lot of them.

Facetune: If you have never downloaded this app you NEED TO! Let's be real we all have a zit or maybe our skin isn't looking the best one day, and want to immediately cover that up. Facetune is a game changer when it comes to editing, and is my favorite app EVER!
